The Exchanged Life Advanced Training (ELAT) is a formal in-class training program created by Crossways to Life to provide a deeper experience of the Exchanged Life message for the student, including an understanding of some of the issues in personal discipleship counselling. (click here for a brochure)
The program runs over a ten-month period and includes over 90 hours of classroom study taught by the staff at Crossways to Life, plus viewing over 30 hours of videos and listening to over 30 hours of audio messages taught by nationally known teachers. Students will also have an opportunity to practise what they are learning in a safe environment through the practical training that is also included.
Personal mentoring will also be a part of the ELAT program so the participant will be able to maximize their growth as they continue to learn about the truth of Christ as their Life.
What are some of the topics that will be covered?
Some of the topics covered will include a verse-by-verse study of Romans 5-8, Suffering, Helping Others, Counselling Techniques, Concept of God, Law and Grace, Listening to God, Temptation and Victory, Parenting under Grace, Marriage, Forgiveness, Guilt and Shame, Acceptance, Dealing with Trauma and many more.
Who should attend the ELAT program?
During the ELAT not only will the student gain an understanding of some tools that can be used to teach and lead others into experiencing Christ as Life but he or she is will also experience personal growth in their walk with Christ.
Although the ELAT is beneficial to Christian leaders and workers it is not limited to those in active ministry. It is also very beneficial to those who might not foresee themselves in a ministry environment but still have a desire to know and experience more of Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
The prerequisites include attending a Grace Life Conference OR a 13-week Growing in Grace; and have a desire to go further in your experience of the truths of the Exchanged Life. If you meet these requirements then you should prayerfully consider attending the ELAT program offered through Crossways to Life.
The ELAT runs over a ten-month period, meeting once per month, beginning in February. For specific dates please check out the brochure for this year.
